The Creating a Collaborative Culture through Community Engagement project is made possible through a $407, 175.00 grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.  The Omaha Public Library and the Center for Public Affairs Research have donated $585,717.00 through cash and in-kind contributions.  Our goal is to create a sustainable community engagement model that will further weave the library into the fabric of a growing, ever-changing city.  We believe the key to achieving this goal is to create ongoing collaboration between library staff, community members, and organizations.
